This listed country barn was beautifully restored to a hunting lodge, blending contemporary architecture with traditional finishes.  The rich beauty of the natural wood used for this project is enhanced by the warm and sympathetic lighting scheme.

Lighting adds to the grace and elegance of the albatross sculpture, creating the illusion that the bird is 'soaring' through the sky. Recessed uplights to the doorframe creates a beautiful vista to the entrance lobby where the sculpture is suspended.

The stairs also add an exciting sculptural element enlivened by carefully integrated lighting. Recessed low-glare steplights angle down to light alternate treads, whilst floor recessed uplights illuminate the underside, enhancing the sculptural spine-like quality.

Asymmetric uplights are discretely housed on the cross beams and beautifully highlight the skeletal framework of the pitched roof.
The key to the success of this project is the carefully chosen lighting, discretely located and sensitive to the style of this beautifully restored building.
