The brief was to design a contemporary and flexible lighting scheme suitable for a traditional domestic environment.

A dynamic, carefully concealed, colour-changing scheme is activated in the kitchen/dining area. The back splash changes colour from a subtle warm white (daytime setting) through to lilac (entertaining setting) at the touch of a button.

Layers of lighting solutions are exquisitely detailed into the fabric of the design: wine store cabinetry, dressing room shelving behind glass doors, fibre optic lighting to the cinema room and spa, to create a richly illuminated interior.

Soft washes and 'halos' of light are visible throughout the house. Harsh glare is cleverly avoided by directing the light to the luxurious finishes and interior design.
The subtle lighting has transformed this private residence into a sanctuary within the city.
